Minutes of board meetings
As the number of board members outside the company increases, it is difficult to convene a board meeting with all the members present because of problems with scheduling and travel costs. In a situation like this, resolutions by document using electromagnetic records can reduce administrative costs. |

Making about 1700 medical records per day electronically available as image data reduced
storage space by about 300 square meters. Also, it is no longer required to carry
medical records of patients who are examined by a number of departments
and this leads to a reduction in the time required to search and browse information.
This computerization of data was also applied to insurance card data and reports on examinations of subcontracts. Any documents on medical examinations, such as insurance card data, reports on examinations of subcontracts, reports on the interpretation of radiograms for images, and questionnaires from the first visits, were made electronically available as image data. This led to further improvements in operational efficiency. |

Operations requiring a final decision were streamlined, and the safety of stored drawings were ensured.
Instead of stamping drawings created by CAD, electronic signatures are attached. As a result, printing and stamping large drawings are no longer required. Also, search time can be cut down because drawings are managed using electronic data. Furthermore, concerns about defacing, and losing drawings when reusing have been eliminated. |
